Bookbinding workshops Autumn 2022

I will be giving 2 group workshops this Autumn suitable for bookbinding beginners and improvers.

1. Hardback Perfect Bindings

What: In this two-day workshop, participants will learn how to create a perfect binding where single pages are bound by gluing rather than sewing, similar to how many paperback novels are bound.

Where: Graphic Studio Dublin
When: 10am – 4 pm, Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd October 2022

2. Japanese bindings

What: In this one-day workshop, participants will be introduced to 4- & 5-hole Japanese book bindings creating soft back books with stitching such as Hemp Leaf and Tortoiseshell.

Where: National Print Museum, Dublin
When: 10am - 4pm, Sunday 27 November 2022
